The CD Hvezda vychazi (The Star Is Rising )
I sang for you a set of mainly musical songs by such outstanding composers as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Bernstein, Ennio Morricone and George Gershwin. The recordings were made at the Czech Radio studios in Ostrava and Prague. The CD contains 14 of the beautiful songs by these compousers and one new song called Distant Love. A Star Is Rising is full of beautiful, romantic love songs. The CD is just out and abounds with new Czech lyrics that have never been recorded before: Unexpected Song; Nella Fantasia; Amigos para Siempre (Friends for Life); Tell Me on a Sunday; Love Changes Everything; Anything but Lonely ; Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again; Think of Me. The lyrics were written by my Mother Zdenka Meixnerová and myself. Other titles on this CD are hits like Memory, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, West Side Story and Evita.
